“Yesterday when you were young everything you needed done was done for you. Now you do it on your own, what can you do?” This was how we felt last week when our departure was delayed yet again, due to truck trouble. It felt a bit like GA was letting us know that she did not want to let go of us. Well, to continue the metaphor, this week we punched her in the throat and didn’t feel a bit bad doing it. In reality we used the down time to finish tying up loose ends. We had new carpet installed throughout the house, put a fresh coat of paint on most of the walls, bought a new memory foam mattress for Atreyu, visited Zoo Atlanta, and enjoyed some time outside. We also hit up our favorite and closest restaurant Aqua Terra, a free plug for the free bread spread! Thanks girls. Seriously, they serve fantastic food and are great people. We love Aqua Terra! If you are ever in the Buford area, it really is the only place to have a great lunch at a great price. The cheesecake alone is worth the drive. But, the rig is fixed and awaiting our departure and the house is ready to be sold! Any offers? Yup, Georgia grabbed on to us and we both turned around and punched her in the face! Kids you should never punch anyone, unless they grab ahold of you and won’t let you go! We are not taking anymore of Georgia’s, um kudzu. This week was all about teamwork. The bottom line is that we are now even more ready for a long term departure than we were before, and we have a nice air-conditioned ride in our driveway to do it in! We leave soon or at the very least we will keep trying until the wheels on the bus go around and around.

On a side note, Wizard is going to miss his backyard terribly. So he has spent most of his days soaking it up.
