Georgia On My Mind

Since our return from Iceland, we have been doing some serious housekeeping in Georgia.  Our trips back to Georgia always last 10 times longer than anticipated.  That is ok though because our fur children love our non-moving house and we love seeing our GA friends. Our first goal was to get the house ready for sale. First we bought a truck load of mulch and spent 2 days prepping the yard and gardens.   Next, we rented a storage unit and started moving all our boxes.  Let me tell you, you meet some interesting folks at storage units.  Just saying, wow.  Anyways we moved everything that we could fit in our car and left the furniture in the house, to ‘stage’ it.  Next up, find a realtor to list our house.  We did some research on many different realtors (thanks for the advice ATL friends) and decided on a somewhat non-traditional agent that enables us to hopefully make some profit off our beloved home.  So if anyone out there wants to buy our fantastic home, let us know! We have a small food forest in the backyard.  You will get asparagus, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, grapes, muscadines, pears, apples, cherries, figs, mint, and basil without any effort!   If you don’t have a buying agent we will share the buyer agent percentage with you  😉  Seriously, if you want to check out our listing here it is Sugar Hill Home.  We also are trying to sell some big items like our car, elliptical machine, TV, etc.  Next up, make sure the RV is ready to go.  The RV is always at the shop 10 times longer than anticipated too!  Hopefully, we will be headed to the Florida beach soon!  We will let you know when we arrive.
