Jordanelle State Park

Herber City, UT

Website: http://stateparks.utah.gov/park/jordanelle-state-park

Overview: This is a nice Utah State Park just outside of Park City.  It is located along the shores of Jordanelle Reservoir. It is about a 45-minute drive to downtown Salt Lake City. Wade stayed here for 10 days while I visited my family in New York.   He enjoyed his stay and Wizard loved lying in the tall grass.  The lake is nice but at the time of our visit it was somewhat low and the water was not swim quality for us.  It enables easy access to all the Park City amenities and activities.  The park is very busy on the weekends but quiet during the week.

Campsites: Fairly level pull through or back in sites that are paved with partial hook-ups (50 amp, water) or full hookups (limited number). Each site has a nice paved patio area with picnic table and elevated fire pit.  Most sites have lake views.

Amenities: Bathhouses, cabin rental, lake access, camp store, rental lake equipment, beach pavilions, playground, and laundry facility.

Pet friendly:  Yes

Internet:  Free park Wi-Fi and great cellular signals

Price:  $28/night full hookups, $25/night partial hookups (electric/water)

Rating:  3.5/5
