West Glacier, Montana
Website: http://www.glaciercampground.com/
Overview: A wonderful, friendly, campground just outside Glacier National Park’s West Entrance. It is literally a campground in the forest. It is what camping should be! The only downsides are that there are no sewer hookups, only 30 amp sites, and the bathhouses are dated and need some modernization. Having said that we extended our stay here because we love it, perfect location and privacy!
Campsites: Fairly level gravel/dirt sites with 30 amp and water. All sites are in the woods with adequate privacy. Each site has a picnic table and fire-pit. Very quiet campground in the middle of the woods!
Amenities: Dump station, propane refill station, laundry facility, bathhouses, playground, camp store, restaurant, and recreation room
Pet friendly: Yes.
Internet: No public Wi-Fi at sites, but great cell phone signals. Public Wi-Fi is available at main office.
Price: $35/night (electric and water)
Rating: 4.5/5
